We do use a preservative and that we soak the stems in of our eucalyptus. In doing this it helps keep the eucalyptus from drying out as fast and helps keep the fragrance longer. After around 4-6 weeks in the shower, or when you desire, you can move the bundle to a vase for aesthetic dry decor!
